    Sort of rushed through it so I could get some grocery shopping done. Better than nothing, I guess!

    Lake Hodges trail run. Wore VFFs again... loved them! Not sure I'm going to wear them for the half marathon, though. I'm still getting used to them.

    Longest run in my Vibram Five Fingers. I liked how free and responsive my feet felt during the run. My heel/foot is sensitive now... but that's usual anymore, no matter which shoes (or not) I'm wearing.

      Good VFF running, Sara. The VFFs really do make your feet feel more responsive, and I think also more "in contact" with the ground making me feel more solidly placed with each foot strike. Admittedly I don't put the miles in with them I should but when I do I can immediately feel the benefits in my stride and easy foot placement. Love them!

    First real run in a few weeks. Heel felt pretty good while running... a little sensitive now (a few hours later). First run of the season with the West Coast Road Runners. Looking forward to next week's run on the coast.
