    good Fuego Y Agua 100K 64 mi 17:51 16:44 pace

One of the toughest races on the planet, Fuego Y Agua 100K, Isle de Ometepe, Nicaragua. Shaved almost two hours off my previous time

  3. RUN
good Late afternoon cruise through... 5.3 mi 00:47 08:56 pace

ummmm. HOT. once the sun went down it cooled off some but running around Managua is dangerous, dirty, and downright depressing. We should NEVER complain living in the USA.

The things that many take for granted that is given to those who live in america is not noticed until they are not living in the those conditions. Good running, and nice observation

You should come to Haiti some time. Running there is actually pretty cool. Even in Port au Prince. And once you get in the mountains? Wicked awesome.

    deadlift 5x (135, 215, 275, 255 lbs), incline press (135, 185, 175 lbs)

  5. RUN
    alright x7i 5.3 mi 00:48 09:03 pace

    recovery run. Surprisingly still taxed from the saturday/sunday back-to-backs. Last day in the USA {wink}

  6. RUN
alright Kennesaw Mountain Loop 16 mi 02:25 09:03 pace

I'll admit it. I was tired. But the back-to-back was exactly what SeanO and I needed. Done. Time to eat.

  7. RUN
great Sweetwater Half Marathon Trai... 13.1 mi 02:03 09:24 pace

4th Place finish overall - That Sweetheart race is HARD, yo. The Powerlines, Top of the World and Jack's hill all packed into the rolling 13.1 mile romp. First race back in racing flats on the trai... read more

  8. RUN
    blah Hood 6.4 mi 00:55 08:35 pace

schedule called for 6 easy. I really don't like "easy", but I did it cuz its right.

  9. RUN
    good x7 8.2 mi 01:09 08:24 pace

relaxed pace run day. 2:00 slower than 5K pace. Felt stupid easy

  10. RUN
    good x7i 11.4 mi

learned something today, will write later, but 11.4 miles done, with 3x 1-mile repeats @ 6:58 pace, and then a 4th repeat, but 1.5 miles, @ 6:53. DEAD.

  11. FIT
    alright YMCA 00:25

    Deadlift 5x (135, 225, 275*, 245 lbs), incline press 5x (135, 175, 155 lbs) - *only got (2) on the 275 but inching closer to 300.

  12. RUN
good Red Top Mountain 11.5 mi 01:32 08:00 pace

Love Red Top Rumble, but it's very clear that I am lacking trail specificity training. Climbs are more difficult for me than they should be and I recover from them slower than I'd like.

  13. RUN
    good x7i 9 mi 01:12 07:58 pace

A little fast post-race yesterday, but I felt driven anyway and went for it. I think it's time to shelve the Hokas and only use for 50K and above now.

  14. RUN

A nice slow easy dog run with Calvin C. Toughguy in tow.

612' of climbing on 1.0 warmup, 8.0 relaxed pace (8:30-8:13), 1.0 fast pickup (to 7:03). Feel really, really good. My relaxed pace is down to 8:13 and I up to be able to easily handle sub-8 for 10-... read more

Just curious, is this on the treadmill? How do you figure how much you've climbed on that? I've been starting to supplement some hillwork on the treadmill but I have no idea how much climbing I do.
