    Step 4: Go Home! The legs felt great. Nice and easy miles.

    Step 3: Jump on the stationary bike and try to get the legs nice and loose. I focus on lower resistance and faster pace in order to get the legs feeling like jelly.

    Step 2: Run to the gym. However if I were to do this run over again I would not have accepted a phone call in the middle of my run, because it killed my 7:08 pace I started out with.

    Finished my book "Wild" while on the bike and spun out some easy miles. I kept the resistance on the lower side, approx. 8. Every so many minutes I would kick it up to 10 or 11.

    Well back to my old shoes. The new Brooks Pure Connects were definitely the cause of my hip pain. Ran last night and no problems, but it was only 2 miles.
