good shake out + stretch/roll 00:55

my legs were definitely feeling those 20 miles yesterday and today! had a cross training day on the schedule and took advantage of it as an easy day :) started out with 5 min on the stationary bike (and then realized i HATE stationary bikes and can only really do spin bikes), then moved on to 10 mins of walking on the treadmill with all different stuff mixed in (long strides, lunges, high knees, backwards walking, side stepping) to stretch out my legs, and finished with 20 mins on the full stride elliptical (my fave!), easy resistance and making sure to complete the full stride. afterwards i hit the mat for 20 mins of stretching+yoga+foam rolling and it HURT.SO.GOOD! i might have shed a tear when i rolled out my right IT band...back at it tomorrow :)
