another tuesday on the training schedule, another night of speed intervals :) tonight's workout was 1 mile easy warm up (9:40), 3 x (1200 x 2 @ 7:35, 2:00 RI) with 4:00 between sets. i felt pretty good throughout the speed set but this workout was definitely a challenge for me. 1200s are definitely harder than 800s and it felt like my legs were burning for a considerable amount of time during each interval. i wound up walking the 2 min between the 1200s and jogging slowly for the 4 min between sets, which worked well in terms of recovery. these mid-week speed/tempo runs are definitely getting longer and harder now! finished up with some stretching on the mat

treadmill...i usually do my intervals on a treadmill, mostly for logistics after work, but also because it is easier for me to hit/maintain paces
