my garmin was all sorts of fucked up after mile 4 so this time/distance is an estimate :( it was working fine until just before mile 4 when i reached the end of the bridge and then it basically froze and i couldn't get it off the time/date screen. but the weird part was that it kept popping up with mile alerts, but the paces were very off (so this is what came up as "moving time" since i wasn't able to control the watch when we stopped)...whatever no biggie :) i ran about 3 miles to the bridge and met up with Theodora B. about half way up the brooklyn bridge, then we ran over to the east side path, down to the bottom, over to the west side and up the west side highway and i cut over on 23rd street to 8th ave. we ran at a comfortably fast pace and i definitely started to feel it around mile 8ish...since my garmin was being a shithead, i'm not exactly sure of pace, but theodora's watch kept saying we were around 9-9:10, so that's awesome! it was SOUP-er humid out this morning (thought not crazy hot) and my shirt was soaked through by mile 7. i'm not training for anything yet but i am trying to keep my base mileage up through the summer and i love running with everyone else that is doing their long runs for fall marathons!
