last minute family stuff came up this afternoon, so i missed my planned yoga class :( my legs really needed a good stretch and i wanted to a good sweat but i had to do a favor for my aunt...i took advantage of the time i wound up having afterward and decided to walk towards home from the village. it was humid but not crazy hot so it was a good day for an afternoon walk :) i walked through the village in to soho, tribeca and then over the brooklyn bridge and to the borough hall stop and then hopped on the train (it would have been another 2.5 miles home and my long run tomorrow kept me smart!)...it was actually my first time ever walking over the brooklyn bridge, though i've probably run it about 100 times! nice way to start the weekend and hopefully i can fit in that yoga class on sunday morning :)
