Broke up this run into two parts. Did the first half with the Pineland Striders and hooked them up with some Gatorade products to take home and also to enjoy post-run (which I enjoyed as well after 95 degs + hills.. well, NJ hills anyway). Was hoping Bobbie M. might be in attendance but I'll have to get you on another training day :)

After the run ended and folks headed out I hung back and did the second half solo. Had a great time but I need to hit the sack. Will try to catch up with everyone's training later this week!

Hope you had a fun weekend! Nice hilly run. Trust me, compared to Dallas they were hills. And if you need to trial some Gatorade products on people in the South, I might know one or two people who would be guinea pigs :-)

Sorry Rob...I hardly ever get out with the Striders to run since they are SO much faster than I am, plus hate running in the summer, too hot!!!! Hope you had a good time with them, they're a great group of athletes!! PS...watch for an email from Colleen about heading down to Mullica Hlll to meet with the tri club!!!

"Good" ies run! the Striders got goodie bags and it wasn't even a race! Life is good. If you want to do a "good" ie run up here with the Utica Roadrunners or the Lake Effect Club, let me know

@Marcie: I hear Dallas is pretty flat :) I was honestly surprised by the rolling hill on the course last night. Didn't think we had those in Jersey!
@Bobbie: No worries, EVERYONE was slow last night, pretty brutal weather. It's just a matter of time but I'll catch you sooner or later at a training run :)

@Patrick: Philadelphia is my region so I can't come to you but there's nothing saying you can't come to me. If you are coming down to Philly sometime this year let me know and I'll hook you up. That goes for all the DMers!

Nothing easy about 73 min in that heat! I really need to get on the slower side of easy during the summer months. Great job!
