Heat Acclimation Run - Part 2 10.14 mi 01:25 08:24 pace

This was scheduled for an easy 5 miler but since I'll be taking an off day tomorrow for the Philly Expo I switched things around a bit. I won't call a run where the heat index is in the upper 90's easy but I just ran this one as relaxed as possible. The heat combined with being the third day in a row near or above double-digits there was nothing to be gained by pushing it. More miles in the books.

Another impressive run in the heat. Have you acclimated yet?

Way to put some more in the bank Rob. Wise move to keep 'em easy...but really, 10+ in the heat ain't that easy no matter what pace they're at:)

They say 7 days and you are acclimated. I suppose I acclimated to the heat, but now it is getting hotter and I think I have to do it again. Have fun talking up Gatorade at the expo!!

Very nice 10 miles. Plus, don't underestimate the time on your feet in a booth. Kills me every time---but at least you don't have to wear high heels. Or, at least I hope you don't. :-)
