So, I ran the first mile at too fast a pace and then mid-way through the second mile my right leg started to feel really stiff and awkward. By the time I got past the 2 mile mark it was starting to get painful so I called it a day at 2.5 miles and hobbled home. Back here the pain has focused itself around my knee, so I'll be spending the rest of the day doing some gentle knee bends and stretches and hoping this is a freak occurrence.

On a positive note, it's a gorgeous day out there and it was nice to see lots of folks walking and jogging around the lake.
