Noida - Delhi - Gurgaon - Mc Donalds on Jaipur road and back

Hard ride. Best pace over 120k. Killed it. Solo effort. No paceline. No drafting behind trucks. No winds.
Avg Speed: 31.1kmph, Avg HR: 149.
150k aerobic ride was planned, but went for a 120k hard ride.
I had a rest day yesterday and i was on fire today.
The drop in avg is only due to traffic in delhi.
Entire ride was on bigger front ring. Climbed some 30 flyovers - all on big front ring.
I was climbing flyovers at 38kmph on 50-17 with HR of 155. Feeling really good. Lunch at Mc D at mid point and returned.
Return was damn fast - was doing 35-45kmph over highway.
100kms came in 3:11.
Feeling really good! Very very satisfied. Good ending to the traininig week.
Nutrition:
Curd rice last night, Milk muesli in morning
1 McD veg burger,1 med strawberry shake (lunch)
2 nutribars, 2x300ml slice, 5l of water mixed with tang and salt

Outstanding feat.. Roopak.. Excellent average for the distance.. if whatever you said in indeed true :-)

Well it is indeed true. You can have a look at Garmin links :)
Pls note that this wasn't a non-stop ride - i stopped for 30mins at McD at halfway mark for lunch. Rest was only water breaks to refill water.

HR was unusually high today right from the start. Perhaps my body wanted more rest after yesterday's rest. Anyway i didn't listen to my body today.

Just too good an effort Roopak. You killed it for sure.

Thanks Boni.
I wouldn't wanna praise myself, but I didn't feel pain at all. I guess it wasn't an HTFU ride at all. Just took care of nutrition and kept the power coming out nicely.
I know my pain - i felt it on TT rides, i felt it on power intervals, i felt it on 50+kmph sprints. But not today.

My last ride on the same route was a recovery ride. Today i shaved off 1hr 22mins from that recovery ride time. LOL.
@Rachit: I'm on a road bike that makes a little difference. Rest is training.
@Sumit: Thanks man.

Thanks Venky - I'll note it today after a 60k rode today :) I have to get 55kms more than now to match Bharani
Rajesh hasn't updated his miles but I know he's climbing Dolomites or the Alps this weekend.
