    Having kind of an off day. Legs were sore as hell for some reason. Really feeling it in my calves and quads, but no drastic form change to explain it. Weird.

    Ran most of the run (about 3 miles of it) barefoot. Farthest so far. Had to wear my VFFs for about a mile due to too many buckeyes on the ground.

    I think a week off running did me some good. Time was almost 30 seconds faster and around a quarter mile further than last run. Pulse rate was a couple beats lower on average, too.

    Today felt pretty good. Had to speed it up for this one, keeping a certain heart rate was getting monotonous. Might have one run per week where I open it up, just to keep things interesting.

    This training regimen is a pain in the ass. Running this slow is starting to piss me off. I'm seeing improvement though, so I'll stick with it for a while longer.

    Gotta lay off the coffee if I'm going to be going by heart rate rather than pace. Pace ended up disproportionately slow in relation.
