Good class I got several compliments. One correction when the student teacher snuck up behind me when my eyes were closed & grabbed my foot, scaring the crap out of me.
Maybe she needs to yawn to alert you of her arrival.

GREAT JOB! I remember feeling the exact same way. Some people have NO pool equitte whatsover, but it's true. When you do a tri, people are doing the same type of stuff so it's good to get used to it, though it still is freaky.

Awesome!!! I would recommend a good pair of padded bike shorts (or get a set of padded underwear the you can wear in any pair of shorts or tights.) As to the "sore" thing... this is one of those... the more you do it the less it hurts... and, the less consistently you do it the more likely it is to hurt on a longer ride... Best advice: take it in steps... add distance in 20 to 40 minute chunks... this will give your "bits" time to "adjust".

Great work, Rose! Bike shorts are definitely key (I love the ones from Terry Bicycles) and so is finding the right saddle. And don't forget the Chamois Butt'r!

I wear bike shorts underneath other shorts as bike shorts make my thighs look like sausages. Not the most attractive look for me. I had to relearn how to ride a bike. It was weird.

I haven't done a tri in about 2 years but loved doing them -- I think you'll have a blast! When you pick one (notice I said "when"), let me know and I'll totally do it with you. Would be a good forcing function to get me back in the pool & on the bike.
