Another long run - done! At 75 degrees and 92% humidity, it wasn't the best of conditions, but it could have been worse. I had a slice of toast w/PB and headed out at 6:20. I didn't do all that well pacing myself to run consistent miles. My fastest was Mile 7 at 7:46 and my slowest was Mile 18 at 8:51. I went out 7 and came back to the car at 14 for liquids. My stop time was 3:42 which would make my overall pace 8:26. Then I did another 3.5 out and back to finish the last 7. I got several words of encouragement along the way, which helped a lot. Now that I'm home and showered and looking at the data, I feel pretty good about the run overall. This marks the 1/3 mark for training for the Marine Corps Marathon. Hard work is paying off. Yay!!
