Whew, another nice run with Sang Y. this morning, this time in his neck of the woods! I felt a little more tired than usual, especially on the last couple of miles. No sub-8s today, although I know Sang could have easily done them if I'd been up to it! However, in looking at my logs, I realized that I have run 42 miles in 4 days. That's a lot for me, so I'm cutting myself a little slack :-)

@Tad: Well, the pace wasn't really anything spectacular, but I think my legs are just a little tired. It's probably good to do a few runs on tired legs to build endurance. I want to try to get back in the 7s on my next run, though, after a rest day, of course!

Sub 8:30 is never a bad pace, especially on a mid-distance day. Rest day good.

Great run! It is good to get some tired leg runs in. I don't know ow hard I could have pushed today.

@Sang: You never ever push pace on me at all (even though I do it to you sometimes). However, I am totally aware that you could match and raise me a notch any time you wanted. :-) That's what makes it interesting! Oh, BTW, just checked and I have 196 miles for May. Four more in the next 3 days, and I'll finally get to join the 200 club. Yay!

@Kristin: Luckily, I don't feel any particular tightness anywhere, but more just generally tired. You are right, though, that there's a higher risk of injury on tired legs. I wish you lived here so we could take a run together!

I don't know what is more amazing...the fact that you have logged 42 miles in the last 4 days, or that you're going to top off May with 200+...amazing Gail !!! I've reached a record high this month for myself as well, but it definitely isn't 200. You Rock !

Gail, you have had some great runs lately!! Did you do hills in Roswell? A few exits north and you would have been in Alpharetta. Let me know the next time you two run in Roswell and I will join you.
