great Continental Divide 65.09 km 02:50 14.3mph pace

More climbing. Had a great section paced by someone where we started a minute back of everyone, and caught everyone except for a couple of guys. Started the climb saying "if I had the legs, ... read more

Paris Mountain (again, my mapping not quite right). Rode with a different group, killed it heading to the mountain, then rode within myself up it. Nice picture spot at the top, then rode back fas... read more

    Ceasars Head 81.42 km 04:00 12.6mph pace

46 minutes up Ceasars -- HR was insane - I think the average was 171 for the ride... never seen anything like that before. Spent a lot of time near-max... probably not very productive training tim... read more

Nice to ride outside - but holy cow - HR was through the roof with every climb. Couple of days off, and a quick pace didn't help. I'm sure I mapped the route wrong, but roughly that's where we tu... read more

Do you use actual rollers or a trainer? I'm interested in possibly starting to use rollers, but don't know that much about them. Good ride!

Rollers - love them, a lot more than a trainer anyways. I just use the basic tacx ones. It takes time to get comfortable on them but it engages your brain a bit more. I don't have any fan attachments so the problem comes trying to do some workouts that you can with a trainer.
