My new Core Fitness class started tonight. Sierra Strength and Speed was just slightly under 2 miles away. I had 30 minutes to get there. The lat & long were programmed into my Garmin. I could navigate there and get some running in as well.

Except my Garmin *never* picked up any satellites, and I got way off course trying to navigate there. By the time i finally was able to track to the place, I was 1.5 miles away and it was approaching 6:20. I decided that I'd have to miss class, and so I turned around on Double-R and headed back to work. I spotted a random bike path meandering in the general direction of where I needed to go, and figured, "what the hell". I ended up behind IGT, and next to Huffaker Hill(?). What do you do when you see a hill? Climb it, of course. I ran the trail around the hill (which *this* map fails to reflect) and found a trail all the way up to the top. Then back down, through Huffaker park, and back to my vehicle. Yay. Good run in, but class missed.
