  1. RUN
alright Oxford parkrun 3.12 mi 00:29 09:11 pace

Quite an improvement since my last run 4 weeks ago. It took me a couple of kms to settle into a sustainable rhythm, but I was able to maintain the same pace all the way to the end.

  2. RUN
alright Oxford parkrun 3.12 mi 00:31 10:03 pace

First time back at parkrun since 2012. Hard to believe it's been that long. Was aiming for 10-min per mile pace but had to walk a couple of hundred yards, so not too bad, all things considered... read more

    tired St Edward's 2-mile loop 2.35 mi 00:23 09:44 pace

  7. RUN
great St Giles 5-mile loop 4.81 mi 00:41 08:36 pace

Good lunchtime run. The pace is coming back. Took it easy while warming up, then gave it some welly for the final two miles. I need to run some longer tempo runs over the next 10 days, but perhaps ... read more

  16. RUN
    good Summertown 5K 3.17 mi 00:29 09:06 pace

Keeping the runs short until my legs and lungs are used to the effort again. So far so good - I've already dropped 2lbs in a week.

  17. RUN
    great Summertown 5K 3.17 mi 00:27 08:36 pace

That's much better. Feels good to be hitting 9 minute pace, even if I *am* carting around 15lbs excess weight...
