Had a group run planned today but stuff came up and it was only me out there today, so instead of the flat, fast course I had planned through the western half of Union Hills, I explored some new trails on the eastern half. Got lost a couple times when the trail ran through the shale stone, once headed east, so I ran to the other end of the trail and followed it the other way, then got lost in the exact same spot, just from the other direction. It's going to take a few times of running this trail to get it figured out.
