Initial 12 hrs (out of 16 hrs including breaks) was to give @Ramesh Palani company through the night on his 24 hr ride (which he did successfully and covered 351 km).... Meanwhile Samim did 701 km within that time and became the first Indian to RAAM.... After seeing all the emotions, adrenaline, high spirits.... i was tempted to continue on and do my own 24 hr gig right away.... I joined @Yogesh Rao and @ Manju Mysore to Rajankunte, Madhure, Hessarghatta.... Was on schedule to be able to do 400 km... But then, i began to feel sleepy, and the blazing sun took everythin out of me... So decided to quit the madness and headed home.... And now i realize the magnitude of the feats both Samim and Ramesh did.... Hats off to them.... Anyway, at the end of it all, i still have my second ever double century! My 24 hr gig will have to wait!

Guys, If it is a 200km you crave, come join us for a run-of-the-mill ride to Muthathi/Bheemeshwari (that's 180kms). Alternately, we can ride up to Malavalli and return.

Sudhir, I just re-read my post. Folks, let me clarify that I did not mean to belittle Sudhir's achievement in any way. Sometimes, what we say comes out looking bad. 200kms is really a very difficult feat to achieve! We all know how difficult Muthathi was, so I do NOT want to trivialize that ride. Having said that, Sudhir, let's plan Bheemeshwari in May. Hopefully, rains will make the weather cool and bearable.
