  2. RUN
    Silver Comet 4 mi 00:35 08:48 pace

It was so nice this morning with temps in the low 40s. However, I'll be glad when the time changes so I won't have to run in the dark. The run went very well.

Thanks Kristin and Francis. It's great to be running again but I have a lot of work to do to get back to where I was a year ago or even 4 months ago for that matter. The doctor says it will be another couple of months before everything is healed so I have to take it easy for now.

  13. VELO
    Silver Comet 20.6 mi 01:18 15.8mph pace

  14. VELO
    Silver Comet 18 mi 01:03 17.1mph pace

I'm sorry I missed you out there, Rodney! Yours was plenty long enough. I'm just a sucker for a pretty view. Some time you need to get out there and see that tunnel. The engineer in you would really like it a lot!!

Thanks Francis. My hip is not doing so well. I haven't been able to run without pain since Boston despite taking almost three weeks off at one point. I've decided to have surgery which will entail a 6 months recovery. However, if all goes well, I should be able to return to running. Of course there are no guarantees.
