Typical early morning run: didn't want to get out bed, glad I did anyway.

The legs were tired from doing squats and running last night, but I am glad I went. Maile kept reminding me last night that we'd be running in the morning. That helps a ton: decide you're going to run before you even go to bed; don't leave the decision... read more

Nice stress-reducer after work. Man, is it getting warm already. It would be okay with me if it stayed cool a bit longer.

Wonderful run with Maile. Had a very Murakami-esque moment at the end when I saw a flock of egrets on the grass by the middle school.

  5. great 2.79 mi

Quick recovery run. Beautiful weather on our last day in San Francisco.

  6. great 6.32 mi

Super fun run with Maile in Golden Gate Park. Got rained on, but it let up and was beautiful. All in all, this was the most fun running I've had in a while. Thanks, Maile!

More shin trouble at first, but I stretched them out and found my groove. Finished right at dawn, which gave the fog a cool eerie glow.

I'm afraid to run in the fog. Especially with the drivers we have around here.

I hear you. I wear my dorky reflective vest, and always assume that I am invisible to traffic and run accordingly.

    Old shins did not hurt
    Rain washed away sleepy thoughts
    Now time for breakfast!

End of the road on this morning's run. It was beautiful out.

Where is this Yokohl place you speak of. And this picture is nice.

Thanks. This photo is of Yokohl Drive. You take 198 east to Yokohl Valley Road. Three miles down, there is a T intersection at Yokohl Valley Drive. People park there and run. Or cycle, lots of that too.

Google Map is here: http://qlx.me/1x and a few more pics of Yokohl here: http://qlx.me/1y

Tried to go 10, but my shins hurt too much. It rained on us a bit, but it was gorgeous out after dawn.
