#dailymission One pair. And I've been wearing them for a year now and have 1200+ miles on them. I love them. I have 4 more brand new identical pairs sitting in my closet.

my first run real run in three weeks. It was ugly. It was slow. It was rusty. But I did it without any pain in my ankle. Training begins again on Monday.

2nd Saturday in a row without a run...that hasn't happened in 2 1/2 years. Stupid ankle is taking its sweet time healing. Tried to make a go of it on Tuesday, but was too painful to go any further ... read more

Sludge. Cut a 5k short. No energy from the first step. Pain behind left knee continues to be an annoyance. Guilty afterward for not pushing through fatigue and finishing

Rarely do I run negative splits on long runs. Maybe it was because I was so unmotivated to run at first. http://tinyurl.com/86853bf

Adidas Supernova Glide 2. On my 2nd pair, but this particular pair has carried me through 6 marathons, a 50 miler and all of my training over the last 12 month (12 months tomorrow actually). Love them. Socks, no socks, rain, dry, whatever. They've basically become a minimalist shoe over the last few months. In a related story, the knee troubles I was having this time last year have completely disappeared as the shoes have become more worn.
