Sad to hear this. In INDIA these things are common. But one can not expect such road manners in Seattle(US).

This type of driving aggravates me. Grrrr, only cyclists who drive seem to have any respect for other fellow cyclists.

#dailymission "What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?"
Ride a bicycle to the north pole, unsupported, both ways.
Will the bicycle have a toilet seat on the back a la Top Gear?

Haha, biking faster than the speed limit is totally legit. And with the car thing, that reminds me of this one time I was running hills in the forrest and I see some dude on a mountain bike, so I run really hard at a near race effort to catch the guy and after 15 minutes I finally passed him. It feels so good to pass a guy on a bike, but it turns out(when I talked to him afterwards) he's not good on uphills and stopped to change the playlist on his ipod lol.

ROFL... that's awesome. I usually exceed the speed limit once or twice on each commute... just depends on where I do it. It's legit when it's a 25 mph street... but it's even better when it's a 40 zone :P.

Yeah, the rim indicator was a pretty good guide for, "stop riding now Kris". I was talking to the mechanic today and he said I was pretty lucky, sometimes the rim just blows right apart and sends shards in to the calf muscles :S
