Looks okay to me. Just lose the Coke. Anything that can free up stuck pistons has no business in your system! ;-)

I agree David, I should lose the coke at work and stick to water, juice and chocolate milk :)

Today I was supposed to join the CTS ride group and go on a 26 mi ride. Well, things kind of FUBAR'd when I ended up in Marymoor park instead of Magnuson park. I made this mistake last year too. Stupid Australian.

Pedro called me and asked if I wanted... read more

Must be the week for crashes. Were the cosmetic scrapes on the cervelo bad?

    • Kris R. Kris R.

no, very small and only in one location. The location was strange though. He crashed on the road, yet the scrape was on the top tube.

  4. C056b: Crash 29.9 mi / 01:57 15.3mph pace

Rode home with the Russian. Quite windy today and a little on the chilly side. Some people were carelessly standing across the trail; Russian and I went to pass them, and there was an oncoming cyclist without enough space to move. I rode straight of th... read more

Thanks guys. It was a bad weekend all round actually for people crashing (too much sun, too many people riding around not used to riding).
@Jamie: I use SPD clip ins on MTB single sided platforms. I would not recommend them for performance, but they are incredibly easy to use and very reliable.

36F, sunny and clear this morning, northerly wind. Reminds me of Perth in the spring time.

Was hoping to catch the Internet Explorer team at Zoka's this morning, but they weren't there when I swung by at their usual time. They rode yesterday so mayb... read more

That thing I did this morning? Riding the big metal car with lots of people in it? A good idea. Although the average speed wasn't that high, the 10-15 mph headwind was more than enough to stop us from setting any speed records today.

@Jason: Thanks for the tips! I will have to do some more research on the interwebs. Although all this browsing of parts is making me want to buy new bikes.

37F, sunny and beautiful, and I caught the bus this morning. Why? Why would I do such a thing? Because I was too busy reading blogs, and I want to kick that skinny runt's butt this afternoon on his shiny new Cervelo P2.

It says it's warm, but the ride back was cold. Made it all of 500 ft before turning in to the parking garage to get my jacket. Crystal clear conditions... I looked at the web cam pointed at the space needle and thought it was haze... or fog... or somet... read more
