Aww, I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother, Rhea.

I am still sort of kicking myself for not signing up for this year's Seawheeze.

Thanks Dana. Also we should totally go do the Seawheeze next year, for I am totally kicking myself for missing the registration. (Though to be fair it sold out so fast!)

Ah poo. That sucks about the lack of course marshal or sign. At least when that happened to me at a 5k race in the summer, it cut distance out of the course :P You soldiered through, though, and you'll be that much mentally tougher in your next half!

      Hurrah for everybody and bunnies!
I only wish there were a way for me to hang around them without 1) making them think I'm out to get them so they don't run away and 2) looking like a creeper when they happen to be having a bunny party in someone's front lawn.

Thanks all! Living in Calgary is going to train me to take hills better. However I'd really like to buy a better bike too, I think that would help a lot. People blaze right by me and are pedaling less than I am and I'm super jealous when my bike doesn't have any cooler "look at how fast I am!" gears to change to.

on that PS note, Jocelyn is one of the coolest people here on this internets!

I find they at least cushion the pain quite a bit. They can sometimes make the blister area a bit too moist to callous over, so I usually only wear them for the first few days when the pain is acute and the skin is still fresh. Hope they work for you!
