  1. goodCanal Run - Saltaire to Riddl... 10 mi / 01:38 09:48 pace

    Really happy with the pace hope I can do this for my half. Felt really good until about 8 miles, then my feet began to hurt as if I'd walked 20 miles! Don't know whether that means I need to replace my trainers? Anybody got any suggestions

      Sharon great pace on the run. How many miles have you done in your current shoes. I usually change mine about every 600 miles, about 6 months for me. I'm currently using Mizuno and I find these make my feet ache more on longer runs than my Asics did. Could be worth checking out another brand, I'll probably go back to Asics.

      @Pavlos Thank you. @Mark Yes they recommend about 500 miles which I havent reached yet but they are Mizuno. Last time I went to Up and Running I was served by another chap he said my trainers were for speed!! Yea right as if I need speed trainers...lol I'm thinking might change them I've another 7 weeks of LSR yet!!

    Looked out the window saw the trees swaying 'just abit'.......omg was sure my feet were losing contact with the ground and not through running!! But did enjoy it just a short run trying to get my pace up abit :)

      Lack of sleep that led to sore throat etc. Apparently it's an age thing??? The lack of sleep that is! Anyway back to normal, am a happy bunny again :)
