  1. Despite the sunshine this morning and getting up ready to go, my chesty cough sent me back to bed. :(

  2. RUN
great After Hours Recce 8.2 mi 01:07 08:11 pace

Pissing down but didn't stop Alex, @WyndhamHudson and I leaving a wake around the footpaths alongside the Loddon river. Good after hours run.

  3. RUN
great Tadley Runners - Summer Handicap 4.49 mi 00:37 08:17 pace

A steady paced run with Pete and Luke around this short sharp club handicap course. May actually turn up for the next one.

  4. RUN
great Swinford, Walcote, Kilworth, ... 9.36 mi 01:21 08:35 pace

Sunny and slightly chilly morning, truncated the planned 15 miler for a shorter option as Sarah was ill. Fascinating running round the green monstrosities which are Swinford's wind turbines.

  5. RUN
great Hereford Footie Long 9.43 mi 01:20 08:29 pace

Blustery run around my normal elongated route. Got a fly in my throat early on and nearly gagged to death, otherwise all good.

  6. RUN
    great Crazy Bear 3 6.15 mi 00:54 08:42 pace

Lovely sunny spring morning run along flat roads, quite the contrast to last night. Good steady recovery pace.

  7. RUN
    great Crazy Bear 2 10.07 mi 01:33 09:15 pace

An interesting run with Lyndsay across fields full of bulls, through thigh high fords and through rain and sticky ploughed fields. A great relief from a busy head day and some beautiful rainbows.

  8. RUN
great Different Lunch Short 5.71 mi 01:00 10:27 pace

Justin was nursing his fractured ribs and I took great pleasure in basking in the sunshine whilst he got his breath back. Lovely weather.

  9. RUN
great Morning Meander May 13 11.71 mi 01:59 10:11 pace

A lonely morning meander, turned off the iPod and wandered where I felt like. Lovely morning.

  10. walk
    great Stoney Sargent 2.4 mi

Nice after dinner walk with the kids and the ladies.

  11. RUN
great Hereford Footie May 2013 9.73 mi 01:31 09:23 pace

Stuck to my heartrate goal where I could and had a good steady run with no tiredness to speak of. Still seems way too slow.

  12. walk
great To The Moody Cow 3.2 mi 00:50 15:37 pace

A fast paced walk with my darling wife for a swift pint at lunchtime and a cheeky lift home from Gaye. :)

  13. RUN
great Ibis ExCel Loop 7.77 mi 01:14 09:32 pace

Blissful early morning run in the sun with Alex at his Aerobic threshold.

  14. RUN
great More Beggarwood Offroad 9.8 mi 01:33 09:30 pace

Shame it was misty as it obscured the sunshine and drained the heat. Difficult keeping to the Maffetone routine but managed to mostly. Felt good and the extra time made for good thinking time.

  15. RUN
great Different Lunch Final 6.37 mi 00:57 08:55 pace

More Maffetone madness. Held Lyndsay and Paul back but managed to keep it steady and how blissful it was in the sunshine.

  16. RUN
    great CTL 3 Peaks 6.09 mi 00:56 09:06 pace

Hard to go so slow, especially on CTL, where walking blows my HR budget.

  17. RUN
    good April Bimble 2013 10.47 mi 01:38 09:21 pace

Neil was full of cold today and the first mile or so had me worried but he cleared up. We ran slowly, perhaps too slowly for Neil but it was a lovely spring morning, if overcast. I dropped Neil o... read more

  18. RUN
    great CTL 2013 4.89 mi 00:44 09:05 pace

Decided to give the Maffetone HR training a go, very hard to run this slow and impossible to keep below 140 on the hills, at present. Lovely day to have to slow down.

  19. RUN
    great First offroad 2013 4.31 mi 00:36 08:14 pace

Wasn't sure how my legs would handle this but the dreaded DOMS had departed this morning and I figured it was time to assess the damage from Sunday. No problems, legs felt ridiculously good, a... read more

  20. RUN
    great Evesham Ultra 2013 45 mi 08:10 10:53 pace

Mileage ended up a little further than mapped, the climbs were tough and the downhills bliss. The scenery was beautiful and all familiar which was excellent, always having a point of reference. E... read more
