SO Thankful for my DailyMile Secret Santa! The stickers are great, and the note was even better. :D "Train like you mean it!" will be my 2013 training mantra; my mantra while working out... read more

  2. RUN
    good Downtown Reverse 2.85 mi

1 min walk/jog. Although I missed two intervals, there were four others that I opted to keep jogging (I was jogging downhill), so, in the end, I made all and then some :) Traffic was a little hea... read more

  3. How does DailyMile know my address for secret santa? I've got a secret santa, along with his address, but how does DailyMile know my address?

  4. RUN
good Downtown Montgomery Christmas... 2.75 mi

Much cooler, faster, and better than Monday. 1 min jog/walk. Made most of the intervals; did not make the intervals going up Dexter, but I was ok with that. It helped that parts of the route wer... read more

  5. I'm really confused about the DailyMile #secretsanta; the dates are off?

  6. RUN
alright Downtown Montgomery Christmas... 2.37 mi

1 min jog/walk intervals; made all but the last three. First, 70 degrees in December, ugh. Second, I started and ended going up Dexter; I think I got something wrong. Third, and finally, I felt v... read more

Very cool run, Katie! I've always wanted to run downtown, but I'm too chicken. I need a group to go with me. I enjoyed your post and great job getting in a run after work!

Here we go! If this keeps up eventually we will catch that wagon and then leave it in the dust! (how is that for encouraging?) Great work today Katie!

Holly is the most encouraging person I've ever met. Except for Maybe Robbie Sandlin. I'd like to see them have an encouragment duel, really. Good job, Katie! Keep it up! I know what it's like to feel so far behind everyone and so far behind your potential, but keep chasing it and you will see progress sooner than you think!

  10. RUN
tired Disney Tower of Terror 10 Miler 10.02 mi

I did 1:00/1:00 jog walk intervals until about mile 1.2, at which point I tripped and fell; nothing major, just some road rash on my hand, but enough to knock the wind out of my sales. I mostly wa... read more

  11. RUN
    good Halcyon/Wynlakes 7.15 mi

1:00/1:00 jog/walk and made all but about a half-dozen intervals. I like this route, it is contained and feels safe, but finishing coming up Old Marsh and then Old Federal sort of sucks (I know, I... read more

    alright Home (West) 3.2 mi

First workout in 2 weeks, EAK! 1:30/1:00 jog/walk intervals, made them all. Was slow. Talked to my mom for about half the workout, it was nice.

blah RT/New Park with Wynlakes 15.5 mi

Well, I was on the bike for some miles this morning, that about sums it up. :-) So thankful for Stephen F. who continues to ferry my bike; also, it was AWESOME to see Marsha this morning!!!

  14. RUN
great Old Cloverdale Park-centric 3.36 mi

1:30/1:00 jog/walk intervals. Although I was slow, slow, slow, I felt AHMAZING and made all of my intervals. If I could feel that good with every workout, I'd have a whole lot more disciplin... read more

I have days I cant get out of my head either. Good for you for getting the distance in. Anytime you want a running buddy (and we can get our scedules in synch) you let me know. Miles go much better with company.

  17. Although I really enjoy working with Charles M. and Stephen F., Charles's afternoon snack of out-of-the-can tuna and coffee is about more than I can handle.

    great Airport 18.15 mi 01:05 16.8mph pace
