IRISH PUDDLE JUMPING -- A fabulous game my buddies and I played when I lived in Dublin. Here's the rules:
1.) Was that thunder? Grab your shoes!
2.) Count the time between lightning and thunder - if it's going AWAY from you, the game is on...
3.) Take off in the direction of the darkest clouds. Yup, INTO the onslaught.
4.) SPRINT - I mean full out, haul your butt - until you see the biggest, fattest puddle around. Aim big. If your puddle doesnt reach your knees, you arent looking hard enough.
5.) BOTH FEET IN. Your splash should mess up your hair.
6.) You get five paces of recovery speed, then start your next sprint... I'm serious, find the GOOD puddles.......

If all goes well and you picked a good storm, you should get some pretty good sprints - feel free to be picky of your puddles (your recovery shouldnt be longer than your sprint!), feel free to aim for your friends. Or passing cars. (Well, they splash you, dont they?) It turns into a good workout, since your shoes weigh about 10 lbs each after the first puddle...!!
