I drove down to the lakefront today to do my C25k training workout. Since I had church this morning, my workout came later. Originally, I was going to do it post-church, but ended up doing it around 3:30pm instead. Once I got down to the lakefront, I got going right away. This time, someone on the C25k group on facebook had posted some links for some workout music that went with the program, so I decided to use one of those instead. Music was okay at first as I got to my five minute warm up walk. Once the running intervals started, the music did get better. As for the actual running, I admit that I was still struggling a bit with the 3 minute intervals. I had to push myself during the last one to keep going. Thankfully, I had the new running shoes (exchanged the ones I had last week that were too heavy) on and they are great. Definitely liking the Merrell shoes. They are light on my feet which is just what I need. Once the workout was done, I walked a bit beyond the five minute cool down since it was so nice outside. Overall, it was a good workout in nice weather conditions.
