Wow I am so exhausted. The last mile or so really had me wanting to quit. My legs were killing me and I just wanted to stop. This is my longest power walk to date, so I feel good about finishing. I've got the 15k two weeks from today, so I really wanted to get this 9 miler done so I knew that I could push through that race. I got real hungry and weak around mile 7 1/2 to 8. I only took one Gu energy gel and that was around the halfway point. Thinking I should have brought another or at least some Chomps or Clif Blocks. Will definitely do that for the 15k. Hopefully, I'll be able to push through the end and finish well for that. Some mental pushing will definitely be in order. :)
