Today was the first day that I was able to go out for my workout in just a tee-shirt and capris in a long time. The weather temps are in the 70s which is great. I could have worn shorts even, but opted for the capris. The workout itself was good overall. I admit, I was feeling like quitting after running the first five minute interval, but told myself I wouldn't do that. Seemed like I got a burst of energy after that and pushed my way through the last two interval runs. I ran further than the last two today, as I've been using the same route and I made it beyond where I usually end up at the end of the last run. I'm very happy that I didn't quit. I don't want to be a quitter or someone that says, "oh, I'm not feeling up to it today." While there might be days that I don't feel in the mood, I need to push through that and remind myself of how good I feel after accomplishing the workout.
Now, I am thinking that I will repeat week four for at least another workout or two as I'm not ready to run 20 minutes straight just yet. The five minutes is still a push for me. Guess I'll see what happens....
