I did it! I finished my first 15k! The last 2-3 miles were the roughest for me as my upper legs/thighs were really starting to kill me. My back was an issue on and off. I had back pain around mile 4, so I opted to utilize the port-o-potties at mile 5. I lost about 40 seconds or so in doing this, but it did help my back woes. I did a lot of praying and kept thinking positively! I'll post a race report later today.
(updated as I thought it was just my app that was telling me that the race was just over 15k, but looking at others results, it was. So, it was really more like 9.4miles)
