  1. goodC25k Week 5, Day 1 Training W... 00:32

This is my first day getting back into my C25k training in a couple of weeks. I had been dealing with knee pain as well as a bad cold then had a wisdom tooth pulled last week. Mostly though, it was the knee tendinitis that got me down. I was hoping tha... read more

  2. alright20 Minute Walk 00:20

Trying to get back into my daily runs, I decided to take it easy today and just do a short walk. I wasn't as concerned with the wisdom tooth extraction site (had the tooth removed on Wednesday, so should be okay now), but I was with my knee. I've been ... read more

Take care of that knee. Ice it! You may want to have it checked out by a doc if it persists. Florida Hospital will have a tent at the race, so maybe they can take a look at it.

  3. goodC25k Training, Week 4, Day 3 1.85 mi / 00:32 17:17 pace

Today was the first day that I was able to go out for my workout in just a tee-shirt and capris in a long time. The weather temps are in the 70s which is great. I could have worn shorts even, but opted for the capris. The workout itself was good overal... read more

  4. goodC25k Training, Week 4, Day 2 1.75 mi / 00:30 17:08 pace

Got up this morning early and got my C25k training in before work. I was glad to see that the wind had died down which made the workout much easier. It was definitely cold, but not too bad overall. Felt very proud and glad that I did get up to do the t... read more

  5. greatC25k Training, Week 4, Day 1 1.9 mi / 00:32 16:50 pace

I admit, I felt a bit nervous about today's training. This would be my first five minute runs. I have never run that long before. The first three minute interval went okay, and then it was time to run my first five minute interval. I pushed myself and ... read more

Great job! Those longer runs always look intimidating, but the program works so well and you will be ready! Just for more runs then you tackle the 20 minutes! You are going to feel amazing when you get that done! Just remember to take it slow and you'll be golden.

  6. greatC25k Training, Week 3, Day 3 1.25 mi / 00:25 20:00 pace

I drove down to the lakefront today to do my C25k training workout. Since I had church this morning, my workout came later. Originally, I was going to do it post-church, but ended up doing it around 3:30pm instead. Once I got down to the lakefront, I g... read more

  7. Workout fail. Got all bundled up and as soon as I walked out the door and got down the street to start my workout, the rain began. I was not happy. Will have to do C25k training week 3, day 3 tomorrow morning looks like.

  8. goodC25k Training, Week 3 Day 2 1.25 mi / 00:25 20:00 pace

It is cold out today! The wind was really hitting me smack in the face as I did my training. I pushed through it though and got my day two of week three C25k training done. I will say that the last running interval was a rough one, I was pretty tired a... read more

  9. goodC25k Training 1.2 mi / 00:26

Cold morning, but I knew I had to get up and do my workout. Today was Week 3, Day 1 of my training. This was the 90 sec run alternating with the 3 min run intervals. The 3 min runs were the longest I've done at once so I was happy I was pushing through... read more
