  1. I'm ba-ack! Now to start actually tracking again. I really slacked off over the last month because of life craziness and trying to do too much. I've been trying to let the leg heal up and doing sho... read more

Treadmill at the gym. Finally got everything updated.
I've got a ton of writing work coming in, so I'm short of free time online.

So glad you are back in the swing! My time is going to be short soon, too. I'm a little anxious about keeping myself together with my workouts. Hope your dog is feeling good.

Catching back up after last week. Calf is still tight, even walking - I don't get it

  4. Thor (my dog) is back home now, can tell he's sore and he's mostly just laying on the couch, but he seems to be doing OK. Still wiped out though, had to shampoo all the carpets and scrub the floors... read more

  5. Haven't done anything the past 2 days - was at vets most of the day yesterday with my dog having x-rays and back today for surgery. I'm waiting now to see if I can pick him up or they can keep him ... read more

alright Smokey Creek 20 mi 01:07 17.8mph pace

Apparently I'm a lot slower on a real bike that a stationary one. It was a good ride, but there was some wind and quite a few hills so I was sore when I got back home. Still using the toe clips. I ... read more

    good gym 0.72 mi 00:10:00 13:53 pace

Went well, did about 7 minutes forward and the rest backward. The elliptical still kicks my butt, so 15 minutes is usually my max on it.

  8. walk
    good treadmill @ gym 1.2 mi 00:25 20:50 pace

Felt pretty good, but taking it easy because I've been sick the past 2 days. Slow treadmill walk - 15 min at 3.0 mph with a 5 minute war-up at 2.5 & a 5 minute cool-down at 2.8
Still felt good ... read more

alright recumbent at gym 9 mi 00:25 21.6mph pace

Today was pretty good, was gonna go for 35 minutes, but went for 25 (low end of my training plan range) instead, with much higher resistance than last week (up to 11, from 3-5). I'm glad to see tha... read more

  10. walk
alright treadmill at gym 1.5 mi 00:30 20:00 pace

Still taking it slow to go easy on the calf muscle, did 5 minutes at 3.2 mph, but it seems like anything over 3.1 bothers it and even at that it feels tight. At least I'm still moving though.

  11. walk
blah Greenhaven Cir 0.81 mi 00:20 24:09 pace

Another neighborhood loop, feeling sort of run down so I just did one. Not sure if the road/hills rather than the treadmill are better or worse as far as the cramping goes.

alright near home 1.4 mi 00:32 22:42 pace

Still trying to take it easy, calf still bothering me, and it was a lot harder walking in the neighborhood because there are hills on any route I take.

  14. VELO
    good Quest4Life (recumbent) 7.2 mi 00:20 21.6mph pace

Good, kept my cadence in the low to mid 90s that whole time, with a few intervals between 98-102 RPM. Cut it short from 35 minutes because the gym was closing soon.

  15. walk
    alright Quest4Life (treadmill) 1.25 mi 00:25 20:04 pace

Calf still cramping at anything over about 2.8 mph, did some faster intervals but had to slow down to make the full distance, fronts of calves were a little sore, but the right outside of my Gastro... read more
