I did it!! I did it!!! I'm so excited! I felt good but now, wow am I sore! But I'd do it again! Mile 19 was the hardest but my family was there cheering me on! They are awesome!!

On the treadmill at the gym so I avoided the heat... this has me a bit worried about the marathon, I don't run well in hot weather!! Anyone have any tips?

I suggest your own personal bubble-wrap freezer. Or a suit that has air-conditioning. LOL! I wish I knew how to help you with the heat! I would definitely not avoid it all the time, because getting out there in it will help your body adjust to it. I think.

You had a fantastic pace for such a long run and have a rough couple weeks trying to get your miles in!! Is 7 miles cool? We only need a little over 1 hour to run, so 12:15 ish is great.
