great my first trail run of the yea... 00:45
It felt amazing to run outdoors and not have to worry about ice and snow. ;) I am loving the trails at a local conservation area and hope to make this a regular event.

RUN

My left knee felt a little "off" tonight. Felt like the outside was pulling...hard to describe.

I hope it feels better tomorrow. Nice two just the same.

Feel Better:
It could be ITB pain which is usually on the outside of the knee (from my experience). Have you ever tried using a foam roller? It helped my pain immediately.

How's the knee? I hope you're doing better.

Isn't it a great feeling? I had stopped running for awhile and am now back...Oh how I missed my runs and the high you get from them....Not going to stop again. I even purchased the Bridge to 10K to continue my run streak :)

RUN
tired around the block 1 mi 00:12:00 12:00 pace
My run was cut short....planted my left foot firmly in 8 inches of ice water (thought it was a frozen puddle!) and froze my toes off. >:[ Better luck today!

ooooohhhh, I hope your toes grow back!

I want this to be me and my running buddy when we hit our 70s!!!
4 people liked what Rae shared-
His name escapes me now, but I remember this guy from when I was in my early 20's and he was 60+. His workouts were amazing, and he was so content. I always thought if I had his health when I was half his age, or half his health when I was his age, I'd be truly blessed. Makes me smile to remember those days, and inspires me to keep pressing on for a better tomorrow. This is a great vid.

Winter runs are fun! I can't wait to partake in a real Winter run, but we're quite hampered with snow this week.
