    10,500 feet of climbing. A great day! It got hot and my feet were sore at the cleats. Felt strong and smooth all day.

    Started at access point just south of Dunsmuir on I-5, ran north through Castle Crags SP. Hot but beautiful. Treated stream water to drink. Great views of the Castle Crags.
