alright The Grouse Grind 2.9 km 01:22

2.9 km... STRAIGHT UP. The first time I've ever done the grind and it lived up to his name. Brutal but man oh man did it feel good to get to the top. Ended up in the middle of the clouds.

    Yeah it was pretty cool, albeit really busy! I learned a lot from my first go though -- like not wearing a cotton t-shirt :P

    well this is the Grind for me:
    step 1-before starting- super excited, this is going to be so much fun
    step 2- when you start- how the hell did i think this was a good idea again???
    Step 3- at the top- wow this was great i just forgot all the swear words i said on my way up and im already planning my next trip

    and it does get easier ..kind of .. i remember the first time i did it there was does kids and the kept asking their mom if they were done yet... she kept saying almost...

    i just wanted to turn around and yell at her to stop laying ..ITS ONLY HALF WAY!!!..

    Hahahah. Awesome. Yeah when I hit the halfway I thought "ONLY HALFWAY?!" But I agree it feels amazing when you're done. I'm definitely going to do it again. :)

    you can also try the BCMC trail takes a bit longer but its a bit easier then the Grind :) I had to do last time since the Grind was closed, its less busy and it runs beside the Grind .. theres little red marks on the trees about 1/4 up the Grind :)
