  1. RUN
    good 5 mi

felt pretty good, but the drizzle made it rather uncomfortable

  2. RUN
great easy day, part 1 5 mi

5 easy with 4 strides at the end. Breathing felt great, but the legs are tired.

  3. RUN
    good 1k day 8 mi

2 mile warmup, then 5 x 1k @ around 5:20 pace with 1:00 rests, then 3 miles cooldown. Felt pretty good, considering how I've felt for the rest of the week

  4. RUN
good fun with hills 9 mi

7 miles up and down some steep hills, and then 2 flat on the grass

  5. RUN
    good fartlek 8 mi

started off feeling just ok, but ended up feeling pretty good. Did an unstructured fartlek around the park, with a lot of short bursts and a few longer ones

  6. RUN
    good manzanita 6.6 mi

ran with Tanya around the park once and then around the field a few times. Feeling much better today. Now if I can just go for a few weeks without getting sick...

  7. RUN
    alright 7.1 mi

felt very tired. Plan was to do a fartlek, but I could barely pick it up. I hope I'm not getting sick again. I felt like I wanted to lay down and go to sleep at mile 6

  8. RUN
good moderate pace run 3.52 mi 00:20 05:40 pace

didn't feel as comfortable as last time I ran this pace, but I think that is because my legs are still getting used to road running again. Last time was barefoot on grass. Anyway, it was a good run... read more

  9. RUN
    good warmup/cooldown 3.84 mi 00:29 07:31 pace

added some hillsprints. I'm getting back on track after the mission 10 and my cold/flu thing. Finally starting to feel good.

  10. RUN
good to the school and fields 10.43 mi 01:12 06:53 pace

nice easy run before track. I should have brought sweats, though!

  11. RUN
    alright

just a bit of jogging near the house and some mountain-climbers. Legs felt good, but my back was not feeling tops for some reason

  12. RUN
    alright 11.58 mi

not the best day, but I got a few fast miles in.

  13. RUN
    great pre-race run 6 mi

ran very easy, a little bit barefoot, a little bit faster. I'm as ready as I can be given that I was sick all last week.

  14. RUN
    good progression 4 mi

ran the first few easy, and the last two at 6:00 and 5:05. Feeling fast!

  15. RUN
    good 5 mi 00:29 05:42 pace

Slept for 13 hours last night, and woke up feeling awesome. Did the first 3 miles barefoot, then stopped to put on my shoes and finished up the last 2 miles

  16. RUN
    blah STILL sick 5.09 mi

felt terrible, but at least I got some running in.

  17. RUN
    blah still sick 3.8 mi

felt alright for the first mile, but then I just lost all of my energy. It was really strange, because I felt great all day. "Great" must have been relative.

  18. And, as usual, just when I start hitting my stride with the training, I get sick. Blah.

  19. RUN
    evening run 5.5 mi

pretty good run in the rain.
