  1. RUN
    great Standpipe 3.2 mi 00:38 11:46 pace

Trying really hard to up my cadence per my Lumo run. This wasn't my highest cadence run, but I tried really hard. I tried a metronome app, which I thought helped.

The metronome app? I remember running with Renee and Disa at running Tuesday night: and we talked about being metronomic with our lap speed. I mainly use a metronome when playing piano! I have some speed workouts there as well! hahaha: but true!

  2. RUN
good Towards Fields Pond 6.1 mi 01:18 12:45 pace

Longest run since I started physical therapy — first run since the cortisone injection that I felt any hip pain, and that was about mile 4.5. Since the run I felt a little pain but not too bad.

  3. RUN
    great 3.1 mi 00:35 11:17 pace

Still no hip pain! Time is an estimate because the treadmill didn't pause web I finished.

  6. RUN
great Around the neighborhood 3.23 mi 00:37 11:26 pace

This time by myself :) I had a little hip pain but I powered through it ... I'd rate it like a 3.

No!! New PT!!! I won't let you quit! I had such an amazing experience at PT...it changed my running for the better...I think you got a dud!

I'm thinking about it! I saw an orthopedic doctor who specializes in sports medicine on Monday and his thought is that it's a labral tear in the hip. Not psyched about the idea of surgery but that would explain why despite almost 3 months of PT I've seen no progress.

Oh yikes - I have a friend who just went through that..she was able to avoid surgery with the RIGHT PT, and "only" had 3 months off (which, from what I understand, is pretty good for a labral tear). Glad you got another opinion!
