Starting to break upper body into segments so that I can get to work on time. Weight training sometimes seems easier than anything else, I wonder why?

Shorter session doing the new release...the squats is a killer but not as bad as the triceps, can you say ouch! I have such weak arms and the dips kill. Only one thing to do: keep doing them until I get better at them!

I so admire your crosstraining! I am in a running-only rut I have got to get out of. I love my running, don't get me wrong, but I would be so much better off to include weights/classes/swimming/cycling/etc. You're a great example of making the rounds on different workouts.

Hey - have you heard people say that Body Pump is no good for runners? I get told it constantly, go figure. I still go though :)

Seriously? I don't see why it wouldn't be good for runners. It gives a nice over all body workout. I love it but then again I love lifting weights.
Thinking about it though, they also say that running is bad for us, LOL. And sitting on the couch is too, hehehe. Oh well!

Great pool workout. Yeah, I've heard all the "Open Water Swimming" stories, looking forward to it this season. Might just work out for us once in a while where the current is in our favor, as I've heard about the NYC Tri :). Happy Saturday.

Outdoor run!!! I am was so happy when I went outside this morning and the temperatures were more in the normal side of things and the air quality not so crappy. I love running outdoors, it doesn't seem like a chore :).

1 day agoShe is always giving us a hard time with the music, if she doesn't like it, she won't play it. It is not like we ask for much, just one song. She is a good teacher she just doesn't like to play any of today's music :(. Once the Les Mills RPM classes start though, I think we will be better, they provide the soundtracks hehehe
about 19 hours agoShe has mentioned a couple of times that she will makes spin to classical music. Now, I love classical music when I am at home just chilling but not necessarily when I am working out ;-P
