    okay, the miles aren't accurate, but the exertion level sure was. hot, and the grass was fairly tall & thick -- this was a tough one for my current (abysmal) fitness level!

      I loved the bike course! Out here in Va Beach, it's way too flat, so I don't get to see some of the higher speeds from even small downhills... I think I got up to 31 mph on one of the longer downhills yesterday. Felt great to pass those folks didn't it? Regardless of what kind of bike they were on. :D And I know what you mean about the tailwind. I was going much faster than I was used to from my training... I thought my bike computer was miscalibrated or something... it's nice to know it was fine.
