great Sunday Fun in the Sun Run 20 mi 02:17 06:50 pace

Met up with Aaron to knock out some toasty miles over at Muddy Creek--definitely Muddy and smelly but still we were getting in a great pace. Took it easy for a good portion of the run and as Aaron was feeling a bit dehydrated we backed off--smart thing is to listen to the bod. Heating up pretty good out there and was in the 70s. Aaron's headache wasn't going away so figured it best to be careful. I kept going to get in the 20 miles and brought down the pace into the 6:30s the last four. Bod is definitely feelin good. Tested out a multi-hour bottle of perpetuem and electrolyte tabs as well as some gel. No tummy issues so doing things right!

    Thanks all! @Fred--I used a bottle of Hammer Sustained Energy 1/2 hr prior to this long run. I then mixed a multi-hour bottle of Hammer Perpetuem. I used Hammer expresso gel in a flask and took Hammer Endurolytes every 45 mins,

    Great run!

    I'm only taking Endurolytes on my long runs right now, no calories. My pacing is all aerobic right now so I'm not burning lots of glycogen. I will need to figure out the fueling again as I get closer to racing and may have some fuel questions for you.
