No AG prize for me, but I did knock a whole minute off my best time for this race (Garmin time). I'll take it. Temp was ok, but it was wicked humid and I looked like I ran through a firehose when I finished, squishy shoes and all. I'll correct with the official time when it's posted. I started pushing hard about a mile and a quarter from the finish, a little too early, but was able to hang on in the end. Splits: 7:45, 7:59, 7:56, 7:55, 7:06

    7:43 min/mile pace? Wow - that's fast!!!

It was wicked humid this morning. I went out for my scheduled run/walk (*sigh*) and was drenched when I got home. Temps felt nice, but the humidity was crazy!!

Great race today! And a whole minute??? Fantastic!!!!!

Awesome job. Nice PR. Today was almost exactly like last year with the humidity. Nice temps, overcast, but a beat-down in the sweat department.

Great Job. You're getting so fast! You'remgoingnto have to start decided which sponsors to consider. I noticed we were both 5th in our age group. Lol.

Julie - 5th is great, but did you see the huge time difference for the people in front of us?

Just saw all the typos in my post. Sorry About that! Still getting used to my iPad. I did see that there were like 5 minutes between you and the next guy, but my point was that we were both 5th in our age groups but you needed a third less time to run the race! Your training is paying off!

    First of all, great PR!!
Second, check out your negative splitting for the last 4 miles, ending with 7:06!!! I think you could have pushed *before* the last mile and quarter. Look how much energy you had left for that last mile. Great, great run:)
