  1. RUN
    alright Kruse Way/Carmen Loop 2.47 mi 00:35 14:10 pace

It was WAY too cold to run outside. My asthma kicked in super fast and I walked a bit during the run. But, my apartment's treadmill was broken! What's a girl to do with a person like @Renee Brou... read more

Totally awesome! Great job mixing it up and running outside. It is tough at first but will definitely pay off!!

I used to totally love running outside, and did it on every run when it was about 20 degrees warmer. The cold air really burned the lungs and made it an unpleasant run.

  2. RUN
    injured 2 mi 00:30 15:00 pace

You know, I kicked myself for not finishing with only 4 minutes left... but then I remembered, I'm recovering from surgery, and I have only run 2 times in the past 2 weeks. Not too back, a 4 minut... read more

  3. RUN
    injured 2 mi 00:30 15:00 pace

first attempt at running post surgery. Didn't go great... and didn't complete week 7, but I obviously need some warm up time to get back where I was.

  4. RUN
    good Week 7.2 2.25 mi 00:30 13:20 pace

I'm trying SO hard to get in the full Week 7 before surgery. One more run to go, the night before surgery! (Tomorrow is Happy Hour at Chevy's!)

  5. RUN
    good Week 7, Run 1 2 mi 00:25 12:30 pace

A bit harder than my last 25 minute run, but, I did it.

  6. RUN
    great 2.56 mi 00:30 11:43 pace

I was supposed to run 10, walk 3, run 10. I got to the end of the first run and felt so great... I kept going! I ran 25 minutes, Week 6.3 rather than 6.2! I PUNCHED THAT RUN IN THE FACE.

  7. RUN
    alright 2.25 mi 00:30 13:20 pace

Why was this harder than the 20 minute run?

It happens to me too. I alternate bad/good/bad/good a lot. Especially on my long runs. Just think: your next one will be awesome. Good job for pushing through it!

    great 2.5 mi 00:30 12:00 pace

The 20 minute run wasn't that scary. I could have run 30!! YAH!

Not yet, I should though! I'm waiting on some test results. The catch also will be that I'm having surgery and going on FMLA leave over x-mas break. Might put a 2 week kink in my plan.

Oh that's right. When I had my surgery, I was seriously feeling totally back to normal by 10 days and started running again. It might slow you down, but it certainly won't set you back!

  11. RUN
    alright 2.5 mi 00:30 12:00 pace

Remind me not to do two intense running days in a row. I was trying to stay on my Sunday, Tuesday Schedule for next week, as the holiday messed me up this week, but that doesn't look reasonable. ... read more

    good Couch to 5K Week 4 2.5 mi 00:30 12:00 pace

      Meghan S. Nice Job
      Nice Job:

I did the same thing from 5 min to 8 in the C210k. I went out thinking I wouldn't make it, and it turned out awesome. It's amazing what your body learns to do. Nice work!
