    Beautiful morning on a beautiful dirt road. Some decent miles, even uphill, but the downhill miles at the end were pretty painful.

      Thanks. I've had tendonitis in the groin area so anything over about an hour is hard, and downhill especially so at the moment. I general I am fairly good at downhill because we have a lot of it around here!

    Sawmill course in reverse with a bit added on. Felt pretty good but still get sore after a few miles and cannot sustain a decent pace without a lot of effort.

      Look up the Myrtl routine (Coach Jay) on youtube. It's a good set of core/trunk exercises, and also take a look at his Pedestal routine for some good core.

    Went to watch the race. Jogged with the great Rich Larsen while he did his cool down, after running 19:21 on a hilly dirt course at age 62.

      Thanks, Sri. 9 miles with Mark and Apryl on flat bike path, wouldn't say easy but not hard. @Steve, don't know splits but ran in 2nd or 3rd lane because the "mini" is for slower runners so I overran the distance anyway. I pointed out pace because I wasn't trying to run faster, it just happened, which is a sign I'm feeling better.
