Met coach Jay Escasinas at SM yesterday to hand him my good luck presents (2pcs power gel, hahahaha) for his 100KM adik journey that will kick-off 6pm today at Pinamungajan. We have discussed also my getin slower and slower pace. He just said, "dont be surprised, its your state of mind, you're just thinking for ultra that you forgot to do speed workout, after my 100KM lets go back to business, booked tuesdays and thursdays for plaza inde. When preparing for ultra marathon long distance training does matter, but never belittle speed workout. Better give me 8KM tomorrow at below 6:00 pace". I just said, OKEY! lol
Coach got it right, I bagged 8KM this morning on 5:41pace, uhhmmm.... i think im ready for sub2 half mary. hahaha. Dream kay libre! hahahaha
