  1. RUN
good Tollway and back 10 mi 01:26 08:37 pace

I felt good about this run until I saw Tiffany G.'s run. Now I feel like a pussy for only running 10. :) Cost me around 5 pounds of sweat as it was.

  2. RUN
    alright TM 4 mi 00:36 09:05 pace

WAS going to take the day off, but I couldn't help myself.

  3. RUN

    A little fatigued, but enjoyable.

  4. RUN
    good BVH+ 10.44 mi 01:31 08:42 pace

Eww! Back to concrete and asphalt. How rude for my old legs! :D More humid than I expected, but still pleasant.

  5. RUN
great Annabelle roads and trails 10.56 mi 01:44 09:51 pace

I usually don't count fractions of a mile on my running logs, but I enjoyed running the last few miles on the trails with my son and his friend so much, I couldn't delete it. :)

  6. RUN
great Annabelle Roads 10 mi 01:31 09:07 pace

Hills, Thrills, and no Spills.... Made it past the dreaded 207th mile of August that "tripped" me up the last couple of summers. Very happy to be still standing and running! :D

  7. RUN
good Annabelle Roads 10 mi 01:32 09:10 pace

The wind was blowing and the sun came out. Much better than running in a wet cloud. 6 miles to go to the mileage I got injured the last two Augusts... Of course my pace today was 9:11... #cuethe... read more

Why is it named lumber trail?

This area was logged out a hundred years ago or so. There are still trails through the woods that were supposedly originally made when that occurred. So we refer to them as lumber trails. Sometimes they just dead end out in the middle of the forest and other times you can connect to another road on them.

We call them logging roads. Many times here the roads just go from the top to the bottom of a Mt. Not much fun to run.

  10. RUN
    good treadmill 10 mi 01:40 10:00 pace

Another hot treadmill run. The slow pace made it feel pretty easy. The good new is that I now have 3 days to run the 10 miles I need to reach 50 for the week. :)

  11. RUN
    good treadmill 5 mi 00:50 10:00 pace

81 degrees upstairs on the 'mill... ugh. Took it nice and easy just to get some more miles in without killing myself. Not too bad at all. :)

  12. RUN
    good treadmill 8 mi 01:12 09:00 pace

All I had time for this morning. I'll try to complete at least a few more this afternoon if it isn't too hot.

  13. RUN
    good treadmill 7 mi 01:05 09:12 pace

Gave myself a break from the humidity today.

  14. RUN
    good 10 mi 01:29 08:51 pace

10 mile "recovery" run. :D 65 degrees=thumbs up...95% humidity= thumbs down. Took it easy and enjoyed the semi-foggy morning.

  15. RUN
    good LF Train Station+ 12 mi 01:44 08:39 pace

Messed up the watch keeping for a few miles. I know the distance, so I had just had to adjust it for pace. 65 degrees and 95% humidity makes for a sweaty run. (really glad I didn't have to r... read more

After a long day driving to Madison to help get my son moved into his new apartment, the thought of waking up to run 18 was too much to ponder. So I knocked out 7 on the 'mill when we got hom... read more
